It might seem like an incredibly straightforward proposition, but this motorcycle actually represents a controversial decision from Triumph. The single round headlight, inoffensive styling, and the bang-for-buck appeal of the Trident 800 is met with the cost cutting nature of the platform. A steel tubular frame, simple controls, and a powerful 798cc three cylinder engine gives riders everything they need and nothing they don't. It's a refreshing throwback to the way we used to enjoy bikes: engine first, everything else second. It's energetic, makes a great noise, and handles pretty well - what's not to like?
