The reissue of the Straight Savage 2.0 Jacket by Speed and Strength is constructed from a combination of leather and waxed cotton canvas frame, with a classic moto cut and a relaxed, comfortable feel in the shoulders and chest. Reflective trim allows for everyone on the road to see you - even if you don’t see them.
In the pursuit of pure performance, Speed and Strength added a taper down to the waist. The addition of shoulder gussets, lockdown waist adjusters, and Strong-arm sleeve adjusters help to create a seemingly custom fit. To boost the protection, they upgraded to the new Vault Chain-Link C.E. Level-2 armor in the shoulders and elbows as well as a Vault C.E. spine pad.
Designed to provide a functional fit without discomfort, the Straight Savage 2.0 has a traditional motorcycle cut with a slight taper to its shape, making it ideal for all body types.

Size chart was spot on. Definitely feels like a jacket that should cost more than it does. Threw a freeze out on as an under layer and was good well into the 30s.

Bought this Jacket so I could ride on a Military base (Rules) on a daily basis. Liked that it had a hoody that would zip out and make it cooler in the hat weather but now it is starting to get cool in the mornings and it is good to have the warmth. Although no coat is going to be cool the vents in the front and back help more than others I have had. The interior armor is not intrusive and the fit is spot on to the measurement guides. Love that when you have gloves on you can actually use and grab the zippers since I have to show ID to get on base.

I've got an almost identical S&S jacket and had to replace the back plate because it was just a thin piece of foam when I got it; there's an actual pad in this one, which was a pleasant surprise. Good quality jacket. Comfortable, stylish, and fast shipping

I was affraid this jacket was not coming because my tracking showed only one item shipped. But it came in a few days after my boots. I'm stoked at this jacket. Tailoring is great. Weight is rugged enough to feel the saftey of the construction for riding. Pads fall perfect for my body build. The liner Hoody provides warmth I'm sure will feel great on fall rides. SS Speed and Strength has my future business

As a beginner rider, this jacket made me feel so much safer, which gave me the confidence to get out on real roads. I now take my bike everywhere I go alone, even on highways. The ventilation is also great in the hot summer - only time I sweat is manually moving the bike.

The fit and finish is great. It's light enough for Southern California use with and without the liner. The secret pocket is great for snacks since I don't have an CCW.
Flexing my arms was easy enough without the back riding up after I got the right size. I would so recommend this for someone that is getting into riding.

Very comfortable. Well made, durability well time will tell. Is a mixture of leather (across the shoulders and down the upper arms) with waxed fabric which does breathe when riding on the bike. I was initially slightly concerned it didn't have internal pockets but the left breast has a deep enough, large enough pocket to take a Galaxy Note 9 in a clam shell case with credit cards. The concealed carry is slot is amusing and not easy to get at, so don't think you're going to fast-draw yur gunn. I've removed the hoodie cos it's <expletive> hot right now, but that is a nice addition, and will extend my riding season.
On the whole. It's a good alternative to my Rocket leather jacket.

It fits well, although a little bit large in the arms. Lots of zippered pockets to store phone, keys, etc.. It does get a bit warm in hotter weather but there is some ventilation when riding, especially at higher speeds. Overall, a well made jacket with great protection and a good look.

This so far is an awesome jacket and the one and only issue I’ve had with it so far is that this rubber strap is petty flimsy and broke due to the tension of the smallest setting. I was able to repair it myself by sticking a piece of a paperclip into it to give it more rigidity but for $250, this is an awesome jacket and a good fit.
